Born in the San Fernando Valley, Irma the Diva of the family and the younger of two sisters has always loved to tell her stories about her brother Ritchie. One of her favorite is about how Ritchie would play for her and her sister Connie. In the back yard they would ask Ritchie to sing all their favorite songs and he would happily sing to them. Irma and mama shared a close relationship. Mama helped Irma raise her boys while she worked. They had a lot in common.. Irma’s creative nature kicked in when she started doing mamas hair. They would

College. After loosing mama
she did just that. She
became a cosmetologist
in 1988. What’s ironic
is her first day of Beauty
College was February 3.
