Ritchie Valens Pictures

Postby JFonseka » Wed Sep 27, 2006 6:33 pm

Got any cool pictures of Ritchie Valens? Add it here, if you have the picture on your computer, to post it here you must use a picture host like http://www.imageshack.us. Then, paste the appropriate link on your post, highlight it and then click the "Img" button which is just above. Then submit. If it is on the web, then it's the same process.

But I've never seen this one before, and it is brilliant quality! The picture is from the same photoshoot from the cover for The Lost Tapes.

Towards the bottom there is one of the last photos ever taken of Ritchie dated January 26th 1959.

Again, towards the bottom, you will find a junior high year book photo of Ritchie

Yeah, the Pacioma Junior High pictures are brilliant!

You could spot Ritchie out easy in the top two pictures of the class!
And then you see the picture of himself, he looks really young there!

Ooh, interesting!

It's great that all these people still remember Ritchie because they help continue on his legacy telling people stories about his life at school, at home, in general..

I hope they feel honoured to of known him..

I had read that in the book The Day The Music Died...that Ritchie would play for them during lunch time.

What a wonderful link to share! :)

Thanks for posting it!

Have you been on the site (I forgot what it is though).

But fans that went to one of the concerts during the Winter Dance Party have photos that they had taken there, and they are categorised through each diffrent town/city they performed in. Unfortunately they have none for Feburary 2nd, eventhough there should be some out in the world somewhere.

It's really interesting. I'll find the link for it someday if you haven't seen it before.

They have the same pictures.

But this site has had the pictures sent in by the fans that went.
And it's more interesting, it includes the advertisment poster for each city and pictures of fake posters that people are trying to sell on E-bay, and the bands and dates that continued on after the crash too!

Just click on the dates to view the pictures, some of them don't have any pictures avalible.

Here you go Buddy Holly Online
